Tuition & Policies
Tuition
1 Class - $85
2 Classes - $115
3 Classes - $140
4+ Classes - $165
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, with a grace period of ten days. A late fee of $25 is automatically added on the 11th of each month. After the 15th of each month, students with a tuition balance will be at risk of not being able to participate in classes. Tuition can be paid in cash or check inside of the studio. Payments can also be made through our Quickbooks payment site via credit card or debit card. Returned Checks will accrue a $35 returned check fee. All payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds on missed classes.
Competition fees are determined by the size of the class/group by the Competition Company. Some students will be selected for solos or trios at the studio director’s discretion. The smaller competition solos or trios will result in a larger competition fee. Competition Fees are due a minimum of 60 days prior to the competition date. Failure to pay your child’s competition fee will result in your child not being able to perform. Upon registering for the 2024-2025 dance year, C.R. & Co will need the parent and student's full physical and financial commitment for a full competition year, i.e.: September 2024-July 2025. This includes rehearsals, attendance at all classes and mandatory full rehearsals, participation in regional and nationals competitions and special performances, costumes, and tuition.
Uniform Grooming & Costuming
Uniform, Grooming, & Costuming
Hair must be pulled back out of the face for all dance classes to limit distractions. Hair must be pulled back neatly into a bun for showcases. Alternative hairstyles will be notified to parents for competition styles. Braided styles are not allowed for competition performances unless specified by the director or competition coordinator. Makeup must be applied for showcases and competition performances. Appropriate makeup consists of solid color eye shadow, blush, and red lipstick.
Dance Competition and Spring Showcase costume measurements are taken at the beginning of the dance year, and costumes are custom-made to order. Costume prices vary and are given to parents months in advance via invoice. We encourage parents to make small deposits for costumes on a monthly basis. All payments are non-refundable. Late costume payments will result in a delay of shipping and possibly being sold out before being purchased. Late payments may result in your student not being able to participate in showcases or competitions.
Each dance class genre has its own dance attire. Dance attire can be purchased locally at Dancers World (2323 Whitney Avenue Hamden, CT 06518 | 203-248-9304). Parents can order online through their website www.dancersworldct.com Tap on “Studio Dress Codes” then “C.R. & Co”.
