-
Mini Movers (Ages 3–5)
-
Pre-Competitive Program
-
Competitive Program
Regardless of the program in which a student is enrolled, every dancer is taught that Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. Our curriculum emphasizes proper technique, strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry, providing students with a strong technical foundation that supports success across every genre of dance.
Classes are held once per week on the same day and at the same scheduled time throughout the season. Most classes are 60 minutes in length, while our Mini Movers classes are specially designed for younger dancers and meet for 45 minutes each week to provide an age-appropriate learning experience that keeps students engaged while fostering a love for dance.

Pre-Competitive Program
The Best of Both Worlds
Our Pre-Competitive Program is the perfect choice for dancers and families looking for the flexibility of a recreational dance experience with the added benefit of competitive-level training. Designed as the ideal bridge between our recreational and Competitive Team programs, this exciting new offering allows dancers to develop strong technical skills, gain valuable performance experience, and grow in confidence—all without the commitment of full-time competition. Throughout the season, dancers will receive instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop while training alongside our novice Competitive Team classes. This unique approach creates a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.
Classes are divided by age:
-
Petites: Ages 6–8
-
Juniors: Ages 9–11
-
Teens: Ages 12 & Up
Every Pre-Competitive dancer will take the stage in our annual Spring Dance Showcase, celebrating their growth and accomplishments throughout the season. Families also have the exciting option to have their dancer participate in our final competition of the season, providing a taste of the competitive dance experience without the year-long commitment. Competition is completely optional. Dancers may choose to participate or simply enjoy the recreational training experience. No student will ever be required to compete.
Our Pre-Competitive Program is ideal for:
-
First-time dancers looking to build a strong technical foundation.
-
Students who love to dance for fun while receiving exceptional instruction.
-
Families seeking a flexible alternative to full-time competition.
-
Dancers interested in exploring competitive dance before committing to our Competitive Team.
-
Students with aspirations of auditioning for the Competitive Team in future seasons.
Competitive Program
Our Competitive Program is designed for dedicated dancers who are committed to advancing their technical training, artistry, and performance skills in a challenging yet supportive environment. Through rigorous instruction and meaningful performance experiences, dancers develop discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a passion for excellence both on and off the stage.
All Competitive Team dancers are required to enroll in the weekly Competitive Ballet Technique class. As the foundation of all dance styles, ballet training is essential to each dancer's technical development and continued success throughout the competitive season.
Novice Competitive Team
Our Novice Competitive Team is designed for dancers who are new to competitive dance or are developing their foundational performance skills. Dancers are placed into one of the following age divisions:
-
Petites
-
Juniors
-
Teens
During the 2026–2027 season, Novice Competitive Team dancers will compete in the Hip Hop genre, allowing them to gain valuable competition experience while building confidence and stage presence in a supportive environment.
Elite Competitive Team
Our Elite Competitive Team is intended for dancers who demonstrate advanced technical ability, strong performance quality, and a high level of commitment. Elite dancers compete at the Intermediate and Advanced levels in a variety of dance styles, including: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. Elite Competitive Team dancers are placed into one of our signature competitive companies:
-
Sapphire
-
Pearl
-
Diamond
Admission into both the Novice and Elite Competitive Teams is by audition only. All prospective competitive dancers must participate in the studio's annual auditions. Dancers selected for either Competitive Team are also expected to attend our Summer Intensive Bootcamp, which serves as the official kickoff to the competitive season and prepares students for choreography, team-building, and technical development.
Mini Movers Program (Ages 3–5)
Our Mini Movers Program introduces our youngest dancers to the joy of movement through an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance.
Each week, dancers participate in a 45-minute Ballet & Tap combination class that incorporates imaginative movement, music, games, and positive reinforcement to make learning both educational and fun. Throughout the season, students will develop coordination, balance, rhythm, listening skills, classroom etiquette, and fundamental dance technique in a nurturing environment.
Mini Movers will showcase everything they've learned by performing in our annual Spring Dance Showcase, giving every dancer the opportunity to shine on stage and celebrate their accomplishments.
To encourage creativity, learning, and social-emotional development, families will enjoy engaging monthly classroom themes, interactive activities, and special studio experiences throughout the season. At the conclusion of each class, dancers receive a sticker recognizing their hard work and successful class participation—making every visit to the studio a celebration of progress.
Students who demonstrate exceptional focus, technical ability, and readiness for additional training may be invited to enroll in our Mini Elite Jazz class, providing an early introduction to competitive dance for those interested in pursuing more advanced performance opportunities.
